R. Delongpre- Mysterious Painting?

 I also have a very similar almost the same painting and i do not know anything about it either.

I have a painting by this same artist. I know its him because the signature is the same with one exception, my painting has a circled C after the signature.  I also suspect its a acrylic.  I don't see how to attach in this reply but I have pictures of my painting and the signature. Its absolutely the same artist. My painting is of a white persian cat  so the topic is the same and is really large almost 5' x 5'. This is not, however,  the Delongpre that paints only florals because these paintings are too recent.

I got my painting from a friend whose friend was moving and had no room to move with it and gave it to me. I live in the east bay area of California. I don't know who he got it from. I've had the painting for about 7 years.

I had a lady contact me a couple years ago about this artist.  I'm wondering if its you for she had a owl painting too. She was from back east, I'm thinking mid westish. Is that you? Did you contact me once? What a kick if its so! Here we are again! If not theres someone else who also has a owl painting by a R. Delongpre

1970's-1980's commercial mass-produced "art'. Flea market price, aka what someone wants to pay for it.

Have you found any information? I have the exact same painting but pretty sure it a reproduction because the signature doesn't match any others I've seen by delongprie.
