BORN IN BORDEAUX IN 1870, THIS PHENOMENALLY TALENTED SCULPTOR WAS KNOWN TO BE THE PUPIL OF LEQUESNE AND THE COUNCIL SCHOOL OF BORDEAUX. HE ALSO ATTENDED THE FRENCH SCHOOL OF THE XIX AND THE XXEME CENTURY
The statue is of a Spanish warrior raising his sheild in the air and holding his sword at his hip like he's about to defend against an attack.
