Rare club chair with a varnish initialed vm. Dowled legs, art engraved on back piece has 2 unicorns sticking thier tongues out reaching towards the other . Have been told they were made in the 1940s. Have only been able to find one matching image on the internet it was sold at an auction in ohio in the 90s, when i called the auction house they would not give any information at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also i have a set of these 2 with matching numbers.

Furniture like this was often made for fraternal orders and men's lodges, of which there were thousands just in North America. Most do not have huge vakue unless they have a provenance to a famous person or an event. I'd estimate a value of about $150.00 each.
