Description

DESCRIPTION: I have this antique measuring tape - 78 inch, in nice case. Case has great seal of the United States - orig. design by Barton of Philadelphia.. On other side is 13 layered pyramid and under that is: Eye of Providence National Seal - 1776 - Declaration of Independence and Novus Ordo Seclorum - Begining of New American Era. I don\\\'t see any names or hallmarks on tape or on silver colored case. Case needs cleaning. Is old and tape from begining has some wear. Diameter is 2 14/16\\\" and 9/16\\\" deep. High quality case with fine details. Great, not easy to find collectible

Its never been clean

Would love to know the value of this item.

Re: RARE ANTIQUESILVER COLLECTIBLE TAPE MEASURE

Sorry but it unfortunately is not that rare or valuable. This was made by the F.B rogers company, extremely well known for their silver plated item production. I have seen two sell for under $16 within the past few months.
