Description

I bought this reclining antique chair 35 years ago from a little farm antique store in northern Wisconsin. I can't find any labels or markings on it. I have tried to find similar items online but can find nothing at all like it. Someone said it could be a Morris chair because it can recline 3 levels. The cane seat and back are in perfect condition. The scrolling on legs and arm spindles is quite intricate. The wood is dark like walnut but I don't know for sure. The paint and everything on it is all original and in beautiful condition. Anyone have any ideas what type of chair this is and its value? Thank you so much for anything you can offer.
