AI Appraisal
Description
This was in my mother's belongings.
I know absolutely nothing about this figurine but a sticker on the bottom indicates that it was appraised for $250 in 1996. I don't know who appraised it.
Does anybody know ANYTHING about her or the red mark on the bottom?
I have literally spent HOURS on the Internet trying to find this red mark and have not found it yet!
Thanks for any help!!

I thiink this is porcelain. Looks like a German gray haired distinguished woman sitting on a make-up bench. She is fully dressed in a gold skirt with black markings and a white lace shawl. She has on a necklace with red pendant and she has on gold shoes. She is sitting on a gold bench with a red cushion, barely seen on the back. The figurine looks Victorian to me. There's a lot of gold on this figurine
Distinguishing marks
There is a red anchor with either the letter "B", "S" or the number "8" at the top.
