Red Vase

Description

I got this vase about a year ago when my great aunt went into assisted living.  Since then I've been using it as a change jar.  I recently had a friend from China take a look at it, He said we need to get it appraised.  He said if it's real it's right around 240 years old from around the Ming dynasty.  The mark on the bottom is hand painted in red and the vase is in great condition, no chips or cracks.  Looking for any more info I can find.  Pattern name if any and value.  Thank You.
