<p>Such pieces look far older than they really are, being based on English Georgian silver. 1795 is the pattern model number of this pot, which was part of a full line of tea/coffee items made by Reed & Barton. Replacement services sell the coffee pot like yours with slight imperfections for under $150.00 These were 20th Century pieces, Reed & Barton used date marks from 1928-56, here's a link, if you can find any of these marks yours dates from after 1928</p><p>http://www.925-1000.com/RB_Date_Code.html</p><p> </p><p>Lovejoy </p>
