Description

This is a large plaque 25 x 18 in. with very fine detailing.

Judging from the type of pressboard used for the backing I think this was made in the early 20th century.  The tag on the back indicates it was made in Italy at the main Vatican mosaic studio.

It was given to me as a gift around 20 years ago.

I did see one on Sotheby's sell for $10,000 and a similar one go for about half that somewhere else.

Curious to know it's real value and since it's just sitting in storage, what a good strategy for selling it would be.

~ Thanks ~
