Ridgways Devonshire Patterned Teapot - Polychrome Transferware Diamond shaped

Appraisal complete
Description A gorgeous and unusual Transferware teapot from the 1890's (as far as I am aware). Made by Ridgways with the brush and bow symbol on the back, also with Devonshire written. It is polychrome (not just the brown colour Devonshire pattern), with an element if iridescence/shimmer to the birds and pattern detail. Unusual diamond shaped teapot and lid. Small chip on spout end which has been repainted quite well and some cracking of glaze.
