Has a hanging hook made of brass? and anchored into the top middle.
The back of the item has handwritten: Made By Robert Paity Buck Maffei TV & Movie Giant "1942" $17.50 (unknown when written) Hand Made - B & B Co Own.The.Ship The Ship Shark - 1853. - underneath most of it is written in pencil the same words.
Item has some sort of polish over it and looks shiny. Item has not been restored or touched up as far as i know.
