Robert "Bobby" Jones Jr., Wooden frame glass housing, Calamity Jane Putter, Golden Arrow ball, Photo's of Robert Jones

By jademaui, 23 October, 2011
Description

This is in a wooden frame, glass housing. There is what looks like a wooden putter and old golf ball. On plaque it states 1926 Calamity Jane putter, 1926 Golden Arrow (wilson sporting goods collection is written under golden arrow) and numbers on the ball. There are two photo's of Robert "Bobby" Jones Jr. and another plaque stating "Robert T. "Bobby" Jones Jr. THE GREATEST AMATEUR GOLFER OF ALL TIMES, winner of the Grand Slam in 1930. I know that it used to be displayed in a Golf Resort.

Re: Robert "Bobby" Jones Jr., Wooden frame glass housing, ...

Items like this appeal to a small group of Golf memorabilia collectors and don't sell well in the general Collectibles /Antique market. I suggest contacting sites that deal with this kind of thing, such as here:
