Description

I purchased this at an antique store and I wanted to know some history on the piece. I have tried googling some information about it, but it seems like there are a lot of different Rockford Furniture companies or variations of that name. There is a sticker on the bottom of the chairs that says "The "B" Line Rockford Furntire Company Rockford, Illinois". The wood appears to be mahogany or cherry. I am assuming it's mahogany since that is what most of the pieces seem to be made of online. However, I cannot find a certiffied mahogany sticker on any of the pieces. Since it was purchased at an antique/consignment store, I know that some of the pieces are missing. It looks like it's missing 2 leaves on the table portion of the set. The table opens up to about 104 inches if it had the two leaves. It has one folded leaf attached to the table itself that drops down when you expand the table. The legs on the table are detachable and there are 6 in total. All have a very ornate vertical lined pattern down the leg. The two extra legs of the 6 go in the middle of the table as do the others that i have found online. The set came with three chairs. Two are regular dining chairs and one is a captain's chair. They have a somewhat harp design on the back. I have attached a picture of the chair to this post. I do not have a picture of the table right now, but I can upload one if needed. The table also has a stamped "13" on the underside. I am not interested in selling this piece since I just purchased it and plan to use it for it's purpose, but I am interested in knowing more about what year it was built (my guess is 1920ish) and what kind of value it has.

Thank you!!
