Rockford Furniture Company Small Desk

Description

I'm just trying to get an estimate of the value of this desk.  It came out of a metal stamping factory my father owned in Rockford, IL.  I believe it was a textile factory previously.  I can tell it was made by the Rockford Furniture Company by the remnants of the sticker inside the drawer.  The wood is highly figured, but I'm not sure exactly what type of wood is used - maybe walnut or mahogany?  As you can see, my kids decided it would be nice to write on - literally!  Please let me know if anyone has any information they can pass along.  Thank you for your time.
