Greetings,
This is a two piece unit. The roll top desk area can be separated simply by lifting it from the base. The lock is made by Corbin Cabinet Lock (CCL). There are several knickknack 'cubbyholes', including 17" & 8 1/2" vertical side slots, two drawers and duel pen holders. The desk top surface area has wooden bumper guards on both sides. The base is of a 'closed area' type architecture (as opposed to an open back; see photos) which sports 8 drawers and 2 hidden sleeves on either side that extend when pulled (~18"). There are four wheels mounted to the base. There is also a two piece spring loaded internal mechanism which serves to prevent the top from moving around. One of these pieces has come loose. I can find no additional markings or other distinguishable signs. I think the Corbin lock provides the most data/clues.
If you can help to identify/appraise this roll top desk, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks & please advise,
~Kent
