We just baught it from a lady, off of craigslist, who was moving. She said her son's great grandfather past away and she had ended up with it. We baught it for our baby's room for a wardrobe.
We found the patent number online and it went to a Roos chest. We are so puzzeled...Has anyone seen one of these? I cannot find anything about these roll top wardrobes...I am wondering if Edward Roos only made a few?
I have a roll top wardrobe very similar to yours. Mine has more of a squared top, does not have a drawer and is a darker wood. I have also been looking for information online but have found none. A few months ago I found one on Ebay listed for $900 but didn't check back for the sold price. It had been altered to accommodate a small tv. I'm thinking of selling mine and would like to find the approximate value. Have you found any information since your post?
