Description We recovered these items after in-laws passed away and we were preparing their home for sale. My husband said he and his father took them out of an old, unoccupied home they were working on doing a painting job when my husband was a child in the 1960's. These items were in the attic, and my father-in-law never did anything with them. We don't know what these items are and are most concerned with learning about what they were used for as well as their possible age. I know this is an antique forum, but I don't know if these are antiques. They were cast of a light-weight metal, possibly aluminum. They are dusty and appear to be corroded or weather-worn. The brackets on the back seem to imply these items may have been used in some way for shelves or tables. One item appears to be more worn or corroded than the other. I can find no markings on them. Both roosters are facing the same direction, indicating to me that I would not be able to put them together back-to-back. There is no color, paint, or stain of any kind on them.
