Root Glass Company Calibration test bottle

This is a Root Glass company test bottle. I know little about it other than it was made by the Root Glass comany. The bottle has the Root logo on the bottom with the oz. numbers and measurement lines around the bottle in etching. I see no other identifing marks on the bottle. This bottle was going into the trash when I saw it I picked it up. Does any one know more about this bottle and the year it was made? Thanks.
