Description
This is a small bedside table with drop leaf sides, 2 small drawers on the front and a pull down door on the back with a marble-lined space for a chamber pot. It is made of rosewood. The sides, back and bottom of the drawers are mahogany. Delicate curved legs with the original caster wheels on the bottoms. I've been told that it dates to pre-civil war, possibly late 1700's. Before she died, my grandmother told my mother that it had an appraised value of $5000 but this was 50 years ago. The table is in excellent condition, and I am looking for someone to give me a current appraisal but I don't know how to go about it.
