I’m trying to find out information on this Royal Chester made in Japan China set I have. I don’t even know the pattern or age of it

Anything with a "Made In Japan" sticker or label tends to date post 1921, before then from about 1891 the marking for Japan would have been "Nippon". A lot of Japanese 20th century porcelain was made under contract for other companies , which put their own marks on it. Sadly the market is currently flooded with dinnerware services and values are very modest, large comparable sets often sell at auction for under $250.00.
