Description

This beautiful and very heavy fluted trumpet-neck vase was hand painted, decorated, and signed by Faience artist Isabel Lewis ca.1890 - 1907. She implemented hers and her sister's, Florence Lewis, unique style of covering the exterior of her pieces in cobalt blue and trimming both base and top rims in brown. She expertly painted the interior with a beautiful soft green shade and the exterior with a lovely yellow wrap-around floral design with gorgeous green and brown leaves as shown in the photos above.
Very large and extremely heavy, this vase stands 18" tall by approximately 7 3/8" diameter at widest point.
Excellent condition for age with one tiny unnoticeable chip (approximately 2.5 mm x 6 mm) to base rim and some fine crazing under glaze.

No two Isabel Lewis creations are identical and all are very difficult to find
