Description

This item along with a small mustard pot were discovered in a recent estate lot. Can someone please tell me what it is. The silver top cannot be removed. If this is supposed to happen then it is stuck on. I am too scared to apply any pressure to twist the lid. Any suggestions as to how to remove it? The item is in good condition.
