Description

Painting was a gift to my Mom. It appears in good to very good shape. Looks like original frame. I searched the internet and found that Runci painted "Calender Girls: in the 50's and his wife was a Graphic Artist in Los Angeles. Her name was Maxine, so it seems that this is a portrait of his wife.

Signature on front right hand corner of canvas: "Runci"

Hand-writing on back of canvas reads:

1st line - Painted 1957 - only one

2nd line - Maxine (Mrs. Edward) Runci

3rd line in quotations - "Invitation"

Stamp on canvas frame:

ALL REPRODUCTION RIGHTS RESERVED BY ARTIST

Signed: Edwaed Runci is hand written
