History
Purchased for engagement present in Russia by a prominent Polish Doctor from Zakopane pre-WW II. During escape from Nazi and German Tyranny, this was one of the only valuable possessions smuggled into a Refugee camp held by the Allied Forces. It made its way to Canada by survivors of the family. The doctor was assassinated by Occupying forces for exercising the Hippocratic Oath to any person in need.
