Russian Nesting Doll Family Style Set of 5 (matryoshka doll set)

Russian Nesting doll set of 5 or Matryoshka doll set.

I found one other set similar to this on ebay that said it was a rare family style set, but I have no idea really.

It is in great shape, except it looks like someone put a whole through the bottom of all of them except for the mother (maybe to keep them in place on a shelf?). It didn't seem to damage the integrity and they all still sit upright.

This set has a MOTHER, FATHER, DAUGHER, CAT AND CHICK.

There are no apparent markings and it seems to be hand painted and the wood is decent quality.

I have no idea how old this is or if it is actually from Russia.

Looking for information and how much they are worth.
