Description My family emigrated from Russia at the turn of the century to flee from the coupe of the Russian Czar and his family (the Romanovs). My family worked in one of their vacation homes or palace and in the midst of the overthrow grabbed what they could in order to pay their way to New York. This was one of the items that did not get sold and is now passed on to each eldest daughter on my maternal families side. There are several date stamps and minimal damage to the actual piece and the teapot has been lost over the years. All of the etchings are legible, although I have no clue what they say.
