Re: SAVOY POCKET WATCH PENDANT GOLD IN COLOUR 21 JEWELS

To give you an accurate idea of the value we'd have to know if it's gold or not, please snap a close up or two of any markings on the inside of the back of the case and add them to your post, thanks

I am unable to get the back off, I cannot see a area which would allow it. i think i should take it off its listing on ebay until i can get the back off. movement works fine, dont think its gold myself.

I've not even seen this make anywhere have you?

Re: SAVOY POCKET WATCH PENDANT GOLD IN COLOUR 21 JEWELS

There is usually a small gap between the back of the case and the main body (at the top near the crown), sometimes it helps to very carefully insert the blade of a knife into that gap and try to use that to gently pry it up, but if you don't want to do that, or just can't get the back off yourself, I'd recommend taking it to a jeweler, they can probably get it open for you, and even if they can't get it open they can do an acid test to see if it's gold.

Re: SAVOY POCKET WATCH PENDANT GOLD IN COLOUR 21 JEWELS

I have exactly the same watch from what I can tell of the picture & the front & back come off!  It's 17 jewels & swiss made, under the face there are 2 stamped marks on the working's, a clover shaped box with back to back Caps F's & ST & 96 or 69? There appear's to be other mark's but cannot make them out or to be a maker! Under the back on the workings there are 3 seperate printed marks, swiss, seventeen 17 jewels & a circle with arms containing a downward triangle/arrow! On the reverse of the casing  is printed a circle with either wm  or back to back 3's PLAQUE OR G & 10 MICROMS!

Hope this is of some help, I'm terrible at hallmark photography or would have provided picture's!

Best Regard's Gem :)
