sb van duzee folding table

By jnjamiedan, 14 January, 2009
Description

I am unable at this time to post a picture but the table is very old. The surface is just under 1/2" thick. Each leg when opened up is held in place by a piece of wood that almost is spring like, I don't know how else to explain it. The surface (top) of the table is cracked straight down the middle, I believe from drying over the years. I was wondering if there is anyway to fix that without loosing any value. The wood also looks striped, like there is two different kinds of wood used. Any information would be great. Thank you.
