limited edition of "Scarletts green dress" the seventh issue in the gone with the wind edition painted by Raymond Kursar exclusively for this edition. This plate is issued under the official aegis of Metro-Goldwayn-Mayer and fired to the traditional standards of knowle's americans oldest name in fine china. The edition is limited to one hundred firing days

I hate to say this, but collectors plates with very rare exceptions are terrible for investment purposes, few if any have even maintain their original retail value even thirty years later. The "Gone with the Wind" plates routinely sell for less than $15.00 at auction and in many cases retail for less than $35.00.
