Description
I bought this at a consignment shop yesterday because my boys need a desk and I fell in love with this. The chair swivels and both the desk and chair can be adjusted to go up or down. There is no damage other than the atrocious red paint someone decided to use on it. It has an ink well and pencil line (holder) on the top of desk as well as a pencil line on the inside of the flip up desk. The inside of compartment is wood however, as you can see, the outside of desk part is metal. Any help with dating this or approximate value would be great. I payed $20.

What you paid is about what they go for at auction, it's hard to get more than $50.00 for them because they still exist in very large numbers. Most like this date from the first quarter of the 20th century.
