This secretAry desk is I believe mahogany. Very heavy, scroll legs. I found one online that looks similar to this one. Labeled as "gothic"? Two drawers under the drop down part. Within the drop down compartment there are numerous slots and drawers. Lock works for drop down part.

Hello, looks to be possibly 1840's empire slant front desk but age is hard to determine with out seeing how the drawers where made and dovetailed, also a pic of the back as lots of time these two pieces where marriied together, anyways nice piece used to sell alot of period empire if it was perfect probably around 300 but as this stuff is kind of a hard sell these days possibly maybe more to the right buyer.
