Sepik River Statuette, New Guinea. Appraisal, please.

Looking for an appraisal, please.  This is an African diaspora statuette from the Sepik River area, Papua, New Guinea.

.Ceremonial or spirit male figure. 

Given to me as a gift from University of Texas professor/collector Dr. Willis Pratt.

Characteristics include:  spirit head; curved beak w/dividing ridge;  small top-knot 

crown; incised divided-design around head;  position of arms traditional;  male sex 

organ; integration of beak exactly above sex organ;  strong supportive legs and 

hips; small rounded free-standing base.  Woodcarved and well-handled with patina

still very evident.
