Description A book of Shakespeare's works, enscribed "H. S. Browne With Compliments Edw Booth N.O. February 15, 1888.” The book is in poor condition and the first 2 pages are missing (including the publishers information/date). Unsure whether the book was presented TO Edwin Booth by H. S. Browne or was FROM Booth to Browne. I have several books from the mid-1800's and the pages are no where near as brittle and fragile as this book -- leading me to believe it is much older.
