Signed Handpainted Beer Stein White Ceramic Germany

I am looking for information for this White Cermaic Beer Stein. Made in Germany is stamped in gold on the bottom along with a signature. I cannot find this particular stein anywhere on the web. It measures 6 1/4 " tall to top of handle and 5" wide. It weighs 1 lb 10.4 ounces. It appears to be made of ceramic with a nice shiny gloss finish. It is a lovely landscape of a countryside village perhaps in Germany.

I appreciate any inforamtion on artist, history, age and value.
