<p>Your piece is silverplated, the letters 'EPNS' stand for 'Electro Plated Nickle Silver'. The patent date indicates that the design was made from as early as 1914 to as late as the late 1920's. Value wise, quite modest I'm afraid, there is a huge amount of silverplate on the market with very few buyers. Most comparable pieces sell for less than $20.00.</p><p> </p><p>Lovejoy </p>
