Description This object is shaped like the toe of a boot with a squared off toe and is large enough to hold the toe of a man's boot.  It has a riveted metal strap which has some chased decoration.  The strap goes from the sole of the boot across the top on the instep where it supports a rod which could be used to hold a leater strap.  It has a hole in the sole approximately 1 inch in diameter about one inch from the back (toward heel) of the sole plate.
