Dimensions are : 5 inches handle to bottom. 12 inches around its bulkiest point. It reads "IS INTERNATIONAL SILVER CO. 6/1" "EGW&S". Handle is made of bamboo(I think). Can anyone give an estimate of time periods and value?
Well, silverplate currently is not ingreat demand, much of it's value depends on the style it's in and the condition of the silver plating. If you could post up some images I'd be happy to have a look and comment on this piece.
Re: Silver Pitcher
I just got one too. Paid $6.99 at Salvation Army. They are adorable!
Coffee pot for single service? I'm guessing because of the insulated handle.
I read that International Silver bought the company in 1928 but there's no mention of International Silver on it. Prior to 1928, then?
