silver plated ware

Appraisal complete
Description Some sort a silver platter. I know little about it except that my grandmother owned it before my mother. It has an emboss on the bottom that says Simpson, Hall, Miller, and Co. and that it is quadruple plated and has a stamped number on the rim of the base at the bottom of the piece that says "1520". This item has scratches, scuffs and a few dents from the handle being dropped. Was badly tarnished and stored unprotected in a garage for years. Upon cleaning with tarnish remover, I find that it is worn down in some spots as well.
