Description This does not seem to have the same rim design as other Rogers Bros Turkey Well and Tree Footed Platters have. It looks close to the 1847 Remembrance Platter, but I do not believe it is from that collection, because the rim is different. This platter is also footed. The mark on the bottom of the plate reads: "Silver on Copper" and on either side of this are two crowns stamped into it. I read somewhere that F.B. Rogers has a one-crown logo with 18 and 83 on opposite sides, but on this there are two crowns and no date. I searched other collections and patterns of the International Silver Co., but I did not see anything that looked identical. Also, I looked at Reed & Barton's turkey platters but the tops of their trees were not the same. I am just very confused. I would love to know the real origin of this piece, and if she holds any specific sort of monetary value.
