Silver Tea Pot

Description

I am assuming this is an old tea pot. It weighs exactly 14 oz and no part is attracted to a magnet. It appears to be all silver except for the handle, which I can't identify. The handle is possibly a hard black wood or bone. There are no screws in this pot, only a solder spot where the top handle attaches. There are two "dog ears" on the top that keep the lid from falling off when pouring. Please see the attached photos. I would appreciate any info on this item. I bought it at a flea market today for $35.00.
