Description

Beautiful old quadruple plate teapot that has been tucked away and forgotten for a very many years. Would be interested in selling at a fair price (thus the request for appraisal). Needs polished but otherwise is in very good condition.

History This was my grandmother's yet in 54 years (my age) I don't ever recall this being used at any function she had so presume it must have been her mother's and out of respect for her stepmother was never used as her own mother had died when my grandmother was about 2 years of age. It is a really pretty piece but with no memories attached to it, perhaps a collector would be interested. It needs polishing (badly) but has a beautiful etching/engraving of acorns, forget-me-nots, and a sparrow on the front and just the acorn and forget-me-nots (or other 4-sectioned small flower) on the back.
