this appears to be a caraffe with intricate detailing in the "collar" around the glass container, as well as on the stand. The lid is a "pineapple" all silver. The collar around the glass is intricate lattice (this appears to be removeable). The stand has detailed roses with claw feet.

Nice, though common... Silver plate carafe with warmer: readily available from $40-$60, online. Auction estimates are usually $70-$125, then they sell for $35/each.
