approximatly 60 pieces,12 forks, 11 salad forks, 19 teaspoons, 11 tablespoons, 2 serving spoons, 10 butterknives. The butterknives appear to be silverplated on the handles as they are very thick and the blades are a different shade. the blades say stainless. there is no writing on the handles. The rest of the flatware however feels much lighter and are very thin in comparison. on the back of the handles they say hopechest I S on the top and silverwind on the bottom. I dont believe they are thick enough to be plated as they are quite thin and the back of the handles are formed inward. The design is formed on both front and back but only the front is raised. I am not really sure how else to describe them. The case is typical, lid on top, drawer on bottom. It is however somewhat chewed up on the front corners of the lid. the liner says " this chest lined with Pacific SilverCloth to prevent tarnish.
