Description
I believe this is what they called a waste jar or pot and was usually apart of a tea/coffee set. There is a beautiful bird and flower pattern that has been "punched" to make the pattern. The middle section appears to have an addition piece with a decorative repeating pattern. The bottom is marked "Simpson Hall Miller & Co Quadruple Plate 2079. There is also some additional etching that looks like maybe someone signed it on the bottom that reads, "CO, M." This is a very crude etching, hand made.
