Description
Teapot with lion heads at top of each leg. Ladies "Cameo" (all silver) with necklace and laurel on head on top of handle. Bone or ivory spacers in handle (assume for heat dissipation) Treble plate. Marks on bottom in straight line form (not like circular marks on quadruple plate issues I've seen). Marked "SIMPSON HALL MILLER & CO, WILLINGFORD CONN., 1867, TREBLE PLATE". Ornate engraving throughout piece.
Re: Simpson Hall Miller & Co, Teapot
Anybody have any idea about this piece? I feel like items get lost here due to the vast amount of entries. Are there any other free sites or should my buddy break down and use a pay service? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.
