With the exceptions of prototype machines, there is no such thing as a rare Singer Sewing machine. The featherweight is a popular machine amoung quilters, but that is about as far as it goes these days. Of the 50 we have seen sell at auction in the last year the vast majority of them sold for under $250.00. A few completely mint, virtually unused examples sold for $475.00.
