Re: Sketch Book By Irving
With books it's all about Author ,edition and condition, which means in many cases it requires physical examination by a book dealer. You can look up your book here http://used.addall.com/Used/ to give you a general idea, but you'll really need to contact a book dealer to get a hard value.

Hi: H.M. Caldwell published many ornate reprint edition at the turn of the century, mostly clothbound - yours might actually be leatherette but could perhaps be a deluxe leather ed. Other Calwell printings of this title featured decorative paste-down illustrations or blind stamped gold and silver decorationns. Anyway, bottom line, its worth about $12-$15.
