Don't know if I have anything to add, but there used to be a TV show back in the 50's or 60's I think called "Sky King". Sort of an action/detective show about a pilot and his, possibly, Lockheed Electra  going around, solving crimes, chasing bad guys,etc.,etc.,etc. Do you think this is one and the same?
