This was found in with things that belonged to my grandmother. It looks like a charm--I tried unsuccessfully to find something similar online.

A Madeira Portugal ox drawn sledge is what your charm is depicting. The most similar charm to yours that I’ve found is here https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/51440546_miniature-chinese-pendant-charm-sleigh-carriage-hearse
There are other charms on eBay and Etsy, some gold and with red velvet interiors. There are also postcards depicting the ox drawn sledges.
