🧭 Style & Origin

This shelf fits within the rustic Western/American Southwest decorative tradition. It may have been produced in the 1940s–1970s, when revival styles (Spanish Mission, Colonial, and cowboy-era Western) were popular in U.S. home décor.

The iron-studded scalloped trim and hand-hewn appearance also suggest influence from Mexican folk furniture or Spanish Revival wall décor, which was especially common in California and the Southwest.

🛠️ Professional Appraisal?

Not necessary unless you discover a maker’s mark or provenance suggesting it’s part of a known artisan’s work. However, keeping it clean, dry, and wall-mounted can help preserve it and increase future decorative appeal.
